Psychotherapy For Individuals
If you are holding it together on the outside but feel exhausted on the inside, you are welcome. This is a space where you don’t have to be fine. It is where you can slow down, feel supported, and gain clarity about why you think, feel, and relate the way you do. You may feel unhappy with how your life is unfolding, stuck in familiar patterns, or alone in trying to make sense of things. You may also want to better understand how early experiences and family dynamics continue to shape your present life.
Therapy can be helpful for concerns such as anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, boundary setting, isolation and loneliness, and creative blocks. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, grounded in the understanding that past experiences shape the present. Together, we will explore recurring patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, helping you develop greater self-understanding and freedom from beliefs and coping strategies that are making life feel harder than it needs to be.
I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand your internal system with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment. I also incorporate mindfulness practices to support staying present, especially when the mind pulls toward regret about the past or fear of the future. My work draws from depth psychology, transpersonal perspectives, and somatic techniques to support insight that is not just intellectual, but embodied.
My practice is trauma-informed, acknowledging how past trauma can affect you in the present while honoring your resilience and capacity for healing. I approach this work carefully and collaboratively, always moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I am trained in EMDR and integrate it when appropriate to support trauma processing, nervous system regulation, and deeper integration.
